| I wasn't reading into anything other than the text on the page. What has the GTR beat anything at? Nothing anyone has ever referred to has been qualified as a true test/comparo. It obviously is a fantastic car, bloated as it may be, but it hasn't "beaten" anything at anything. Nurb' times don't mean squat, they are not qualified in any way from what I have seen. And that's all anyone ever quotes, omgomg! the gtr ran a 00:00:01 nurb' lap! omgomg! Even if they were apples apples laps, posting a 13mile laptime of a few seconds faster or slower than another car doesn't exactly do a whole lot to impress me. Now post a 1 or 2 mile lap time of a few seconds faster and you have my attention. The only laptimes I have seen that have any real meaning IMHO are Top Gear's. Same driver, same track, same conditions (or wet conditions noted). The rest are really valueless. You can't honestly believe weight has zero bearing on performance....that's just silly.
